education from a reliable source

Co-Owner Christi Banks has been using aromatherapy in her home and with her family for 10 years. Christi went on to become a Certified Aromatherapist for Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum through Heart of Herbs Herbal School. After becoming a CA PBP, she went on to complete her general Certified Aromatherapist (CA). Since then, she has become a practicing aromatherapist for her clients.

Aromatherapy during pregnancy can be useful as a remedy for many of the common discomforts associated with pregnancy. With all the contradictory information regarding safe usage of essential oils during pregnancy, you can be confident that your remedies will not interfere with your pregnancy or cause harm to your growing baby.

During labor, proper & safe use of aromatherapy may ease labor pains, aid in relaxation & focus, shorten the length of labor, aid in stalled labors, increase energy during second stage, and can also help with some of the other discomforts of labor. Owner Christi Banks is proficient in the most effective ways to use oils during labor, and can help you navigate using aromatherapy in hospitals where fragrance-free zones are implemented.

After your baby arrives, aromatherapy may help the body physically recover and heal from birth, aid in fatigue from lack of sleep, minimize discomforts common during the postpartum time, while aiding the mother in the after effects of decreasing hormones.
